Sunshine Week

Enter this year’s Sunshine Week Essay Contest, sponsored by South Dakotans for Open Government and you can win $250. All you need to do is write a 400-word essay or create a multimedia piece (digital photo, digital video, painting, drawing, or sculpture, audio) which illustrates the topic.
Students are eligible for the Essay and Art contest. Adults are only eligible for the essay contest.This year’s topic concerns government records:
“Should information government keeps on its citizens be available to those citizens?”
Deadline for submission February 1, 2008
Winners will be announced during Sunshine Week, March 16-22
